In ihrer Arbeit folgt Cécile Hummel (*1962, Basel) den Spuren der Vergangenheit um die Gegenwart zu würdigen. Inspiriert durch persönliche Reisen oder Berichte über historische Expeditionen, überträgt sie ihr Erleben auf ihre Werke, wo sich Vergängliches mit Zeitlosem überlagert.

Yann Laubscher (*1986, Lausanne), Regine Petersen (*1976, D-Hamburg), Aleix Plademunt (*1980, ES-Girona) und Jonathan Roessel (*1989, Renens) nutzen die Fotografie als Recherche-Werkzeug.

Die Arbeit von Simon Rimaz (*1987, Freiburg) dreht sich um die Manipulation und Verfälschung von bestehenden Bildern. Indem er in die Rolle des Anatomen schlüpft, seziert er Archivdokumente, um deren Erinnerungskraft auf die Probe zu stellen und neue Formen zu schaffen.
