As part of Alexandra Baumgartner’s exhibition “How like a leaf I am,” a special intervention is displayed at the Botanical Garden of Bern. This outdoor installation consists of a poem in the form of instructions made with clay letters, inviting reflection on our relationship with the plant world.

The connection with the Botanical Garden arose from the current exhibition “Verkannte Verwandte – von wilden Kusinen und vergessenen Grosseltern” (Wild Relatives of Our Cultivated Plants). This exhibition explores wild relatives of cultivated plants, highlighting their importance for biodiversity and food security.
