Artist talk avec Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah, moderated by Jana J. Haeckel

In the framework of her ongoing exhibition MAY I DREAM?, our current artist in residence will introduce her work. Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah’s photography practice approaches social issues with new strategies and an awareness of their own role in forming narratives. Her works portray some of the most challenging issues of our time: the environment, violence, and NFT-technology. The projects are rooted in social realities – and challenge the concept of representing reality at the same time. They approach ideas of truth, facts, or objectivity, and turn to archives in order to nuance established views.
