Since its founding in 1984 by Francis Siegfried, Photoforum Pasquart has played a crucial role in promoting and recognizing photography in Switzerland. From the first small-scale exhibitions to international projects, Photoforum has continuously contributed to cultural diversity. Particularly noteworthy is the Prix Photoforum, which has established itself since 1993 as one of the leading platforms for photography in Switzerland.

With great enthusiasm, Photoforum has brought renowned Swiss photographers to Biel and offered them a stage. In 1987, Photoforum became an association and networked nationally and internationally from the very beginning. The continuous support from our members and volunteer board members enables us to realize innovative exhibitions and projects that promote both regional and international artists.
