The two photographers Karla Hiraldo Voleau and Jenny Rova will present their multi-layered feminist practice. Their works refuse to ‚be silenced’ and address the themes of female desire, voyeurism and fiction. Afterwards, RosaBrux will give an insight into their transdisciplinary artistic practice. The focus will be on experiences with abusive institutional structures and possibilities of self-empowerment. How can art institutions be more responsive to the needs of the artists they represent? The event is an opportunity for all participants to share their ideas and concerns around the issue of equality and abuse of power and to develop constructive solutions.

Karla Hiraldo Voleau is a French-Dominican artist. She lives and works in Lausanne and Paris.

Jenny Rova is a Swedish photographer who lives and works in Zürisch.

RosaBrux is a transdisciplinary artist collective from Geneva, consisting of Jeanne Gillard, Nicolas Rivet.

The event will take place inside the exhibition space and will be moderated by Jana J. Haeckel. Free admission.
