To round off our regulars' table series, we would like to invite you to a special round of talks focussing on the connection between artists and the public.

We warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition “How like a leaf I am” by Alexandra Baumgartner. Experience the captivating photographic works, immersive audio installations, and thoughtfully designed scenographic elements that explore the complex relationships between humans and plant life. In collaboration with the Seed Carriers collective, Baumgartner highlights the importance of seed diversity and our collective responsibility to protect agrobiodiversity.

Stammtisch by Collectif Le Salon and seven guest artists delves into the complex symbolism of traditional communal spaces. The project features 15 publications, each offering an artistic interpretation of the Stammtisch concept inspired by diverse perspectives but also unfolds through a series of events. These gatherings aim to foster deeper engagement with the theme, inviting participants to explore the role of communal spaces in contemporary society and their impact on photography.

Oro Verde is a mythodocumentary that tells the story of the revolution of the P’urhépecha people in the central region of the state of Michoacán in Mexico. The project centres on a social uprising initiated by women who succeeded in driving one of the many violent drug cartels taking over the Mexican avocado industry out of Cherán.

In collaboration with the collective Seed Carriers, Baumgartner uses photographic forms of expression, immersive audio installations and thoughtful scenographic elements to introduce visitors to the cyclical life form of plants and highlight the importance of seed diversity.
